Garden Games

The children gathered on a perfect summer day to paint rocks for checkers and tic-tac-toe playing pieces and frolic in the garden. A lot of fun was had making the garden games...or were they making memories?

Another new addition this year is our children's garden. We hope to inspire young gardeners to grow a life-long love of caring for our environment, caring for each other and growing healthy and nutritious food.

Community Day: ​April 26, 2014

Guests visited our table to learn about the OCG, take a tour of the garden, play the "seed challenge", plant green bean seeds and take home a free seed packet.
Membership was filled for the 2014 season and a wait list was started giving hope to our dream of expanding in the future.
It was truly a success to share what we do with so many interested community members! We only wish the day could've lasted longer since it ended early with a sudden rain storm.

Many OCG members pulled together to volunteer their time and energy to make this project happen and we are happy to say we've enjoyed having a near steady supply of water during the growing season!
